I have a MacBook Pro, Jessie dual-boot. The display will work fine if I close the lid to put it to sleep and then open the lid. No problems there. However, when I connect an external display I have problems with waking up the laptop screen. Here's the scenario:
1. Connect external display as secondary display 2. Close lid 3. Open lid - neither the laptop screen or external display will wake up 4. Unplug/replug the external display -- now the external display wakes up but the laptop screen remains asleep. If I make the external display the primary screen, it will wake up when I open the lid, but the laptop screen still remains asleep. With the external display connected how can I make the laptop screen wake up in this scenario?
