Hey everyone, I'm getting failed to load kernel modules at boot. I have two questions.
1. Do I need to do load or compile any of the kernel modules during the kernel compiling process? Here are my steps that I use: tar -xJvf linuxX.X.tar.xz cd linux-x.x make clean && make mrproper cp /boot/config-`uname -r` ./.config make localmodconfig make-kpkg clean fakeroot make-kpkg --initrd --append-to-version=-custom kernel_image kernel_headers sudo dpkg -i debs 2. Any suggestions on how to force the kernel modules load during boot? I did a Google search on this subject and I followed the instruction and no luck. Thanks for any suggestions in advance HP Garcia -- HP Garcia, Photographer www.HPGPhotography.com
