This was the primary reason I looked a Debian in the first place, I have installed/setup MANY Debian machines to do many different tasks have have never thought about returning to hell. I think RH's recent announcement will be their downfall, as more people who are 'forced' to try Debian, the more that will realize maintaining and adding functionality to a system does not have to be something that wakes you up in the middle of the night SCREAMING!
