epson L210 scan

Hello, in Debian Testing/Sid Gnome I installed my local printer Epson L210. Printing is fine however scanning is not working. I even tried to install http://download.ebz.epson.net/dsc/du/02/DriverDownloadInfo.do?LG2=EN&CN2=&DSCMI=47260&DSCCHK=666854028859f4cda9ad8ff886e907024899648c, but this doesnt work either. The Image Scan! for Linux long time not responing and then it reports: Could not send command to scanner. Check the scanner status. xsane doesnt works too. Thank you. Pavel
