Months ago I installed Jessie + xfce on a laptop and assigned a static ip address to eth0. Now I have forgotten the ip address and need to know it before I plug it into my local network.
The address is not in /etc/hosts, and there is no Network Manager Applet in the panel. How can I determine the address without reinstalling? rlh
