You should search for existing bug reports and consider creating one
yourself. Although it might help to just wait until you can install the
newer version that apt(-get) offers.
I'll have a look. I suspect one or more packages haven't been updated
yet because of the turmoil created by the new GCC ??
I imagine this will eventually be resolved but my question is
this: is there any danger in switching back and forth from
aptitude to apt-get in updating my install.
