What type or brand of keyboard and mouse are you using ?

Can you try with another brand ?

I'm asking these question because I'm facing similar issues at work.
With recent HP keyboard and mouse. For the keyboard, kern.log shows:

But I cannot use the keyboard. On the other hand, an old ps2 keyboard works
fine.

After a while (10 to 15 mns). the keyboard works

I had similar issues before kernel 4.0. The keyboard was usable after 10-15
seconds (not minutes).

The issue may be with evdev, but I have not yet figured out how this debug this.

Hope this helps
