This is in my headers: Mutt/1.5.23-6425-vl-r76280 (2015-03-04) i.e.
based on the hg repo + some patches. The variables are mentioned by
the generated manual, but are not available, probably because I don't
configure Mutt with --enable-hcache (with my current use of Mutt,
I don't really need it, and it's safer without it).
