Karen, The Jolla phone has a SailfishOS linux distribution. There is a closed-source alien-dalvik in it and there may be other closed-source parts. Depending on your point of view it is either semi-open or semi-closed. A nice thing is that it allows you root access to the device. Bests, Luis
