Ah! I configure localtime via my DE (TDE) and get the option of whether I want BST or not. Thus, I could have GMT all year (I think - I have never wanted it). Sorry, I couldn't resist the statement that GMT isn't possible in localtime! Even by your reckoniong you get it from October 31st to March 31st every year.
