I’m testing Gnome. Ergo, I have it installed.
I have Linux Mint 17 and Mate installed on the same basis. My husband watched me struggle and said "why don't you just use Debian?". I have got Mate almost usable. It is still not usable for a desktop but this is a media machine. I don't think I can get it better. So I have promised myself a treat. I am going to install TDE. I actually want to use this machine. I don't know whether it is Linux Mint, Mate, or both that consider accessibility so unimportant. I don't much mind. I shan't use either again. I have done my penance!! > Unfortunately none of you nice folks have answered my question: Perhaps we don't know the answer. ;-) > Is there any documentation that discusses configuring Gnome in Debian? Would it be different from configuring Gnome in anything else? (Genuine question.) Lisi -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
