I don't know what "aliased over to system notifications" means, but "the forwarding of mail for root to the regular user account is configured in /etc/aliases." In other words root: localuser_you_want_to_receive_root's_mail -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
