Yep, indeed. And, as I said, this can be the reason to avoid GTK+3 applications if not using GNOME3. But, why this would be the reason to avoid GNOME3 itself if things there are 'Working as intended'™? I don't use GNOME3 personally, but it has nothing to do with GTK+3.
