sorry, we simply don't know how to help you.

Did you take a look at https://wiki.debian.org/MPlayer ? Just for test
purpose I would install gnome-mplayer.

When searching http://www.mplayerhq.hu/DOCS/HTML/en/faq.html for
"keyring" nothing is found.

I don't know why playing a WAV does need a key. I'm not using desktop
sound, my Linux is a pro-audio DAW, so the audio settings for my machine
are completely different to an averaged desktop.
