Yes. :-( And my husband's sound is still not working - he only wanted it for the first time the other day. In life, nothing is perfect. You pays your money and you takes your choice. The OS that I find best for me is Debian. But it isn't perfect. I always have problems with sound. I think it must be me. :-( I am woefully ignorant about mixers and things, which is, I think, a large part of the trouble.
