A cursory glance indicates that Iceweasel seems to be using its own (possibly internal?) JPEG library, while chromium seems to use libjpeg. FWIW, I am using iceweasel 27.0.1-1 from experimental, and the rendering is identical for me in chromium and iceweasel. This seems to be an artefact in 24 though… Sorry for not being much help.
