Where computers are shared, I have done this too.  

But I didn't have much time, so simply editing the desktop a bit and 
altering the default checkin on Gmail, and Bob should have been my 
uncle.  The netbook has no personal data on of any kind.  In order to 
have different user status my husband would have had to log in.  I 
wanted things simple for him.  Deleting all cookies on Google Chrome 
achieved that.  Anything else would have been overkill.
