'Window' or 'Application'? Both/either is possible. > > Second question: > I have an application closed (the window) and it is only running in the > taskbar (in my case for example choqok). Sorry I'm not familiar with it. I quickly installed it but couldn't test without a StatusNet or Identica account and don't have time to do that. I'm not sure where choqok stores your account settings - possibly ~/.kde/share/apps/choqok. That's where I'd first look to see if minimize can be forced on startup. If that option doesn't exist read on. > When I start KDE it is always started > with opened window. How can I force it to be started only in the taskbar? Right-click on the targeted window (on the actual window decoration) -> Advanced -> Special Application Settings.... Check the controls in the 'Window Matching' tab then apply settings in the 'Size & Position' tab (you probably want 'minimize force apply initially') That will force the main window to open minimised. You can also set the size it will open at while you are configuring that window ID. You 'may' need to "disable splash screens" in choqok config. > > Thanks for any hints! > > Best > > Hans > > Kind regards -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
