In fact I really only used it when I was travelling and during the four-five months of the year when I live in Thailand; for the other seven-eight months I am usually in Toronto, Canada. The added wear and tear of such movement may not have helped to shorten its life. At the moment I have no plans to replace it. Instead of carrying a laptop back and forth between Canada and Thailand later this month I to buy a desktop in Thailand which will be left there. For other travelling I can use my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 for such things as email access.
