Bonjour,
Is there a way to build a debian package on an amd64 from a rpm
package
built for a 32bits platform.
I don't mean that I want an amd64 debian package, as 32bits can be
installed.
Thank you.
Hi Fraçois,
You just want to run alien... Convert a RPM (i386) to a DEB (also
i386). Nothing more changes. As you said yourself, your 64b machine
can run a 32b software.
And you get this answer:
AdbeRdr9.4.2-1_i486linux_fra.rpm is for architecture i386 ; the
package
cannot be built on this system
Have you enabled i386 architecture on your system?
