Madriva builds are in their repository - if that's is inconvenient for
some reason you can either build from the generic or 'try' installing
from another RedHat (rpm) based distro (e.g. Fedora).

It's in Debian Testing repos.


Disable Javascript?  Toolbar -> Edit -> Preferences -> Browsing
Stylesheets?  Toolbar -> Edit -> Preferences -> Other

NOTE: Qupilla is lightest when your DE is QT-based e.g. KDE/Razor etc. 
If you run GNOME or other GTKx-based DE's it will pull in library/ies
you won't use for anything else.
