Not sure sorry, but I find ping a good basic start. Ping one domain, check resolv time, change pdnsd config + reload it, ping another domain etc. Also, you are in a great position for comparative config checking: confirm that B is good, A is bad, then on both A and B: cat /etc/resolv.conf ifconfig route -n Just some basic comparison checking of course, might give a clue.
