Hi folks, I am looking for a solution of a little problem.
My Acer 7520G has got a volume knob aside, and when I turn it, volume is getting higher or lower (it is just a digitally stepping wheel). But in my syslog I find thus messages: Aug 3 08:58:38 localhost logger: acpid: action VOLUP is not defined Aug 3 08:58:38 localhost logger: acpid: action VOLUP is not defined Aug 3 08:58:40 localhost logger: acpid: action VOLDN is not defined Aug 3 08:58:40 localhost logger: acpid: action VOLDN is not defined How can I avoid this messages? I suppose, it is a misconfiguration of acpi. Must I find out, which keycode this wheel does and then define it in some config? I did this before with setkeycode (when I remember correctly), but it was years ago. I hope, this problem can be solved.
