The most certain way is to download the source package and build it on your own machine. Install devscripts; add the source line in /etc/apt/sources.list; apt-get update; cd /usr/src [or somewhere]; apt-get source package; cd package-directory; debuild; cd ..; dpkg -i package*.deb.
