Hahaha :D The more backups the better.
If you use GNOME or XFCE + an external USB device that does fulfill the EU regulations, then - disconnect the drive when it isn't needed - remove gvfs, so the drive won't spin down and up again and again _home solutions_ are _home solutions_ are _home solutions_ I'm using just one USB HDD to backup my data, but I removed gvfs and I disconnect it sometimes, but it's always in the same room, as the internal HDDs, so not only a fire, but also gamma rays or even kidnapping the flat by aliens would remove my world-important data from this planet ;). AFAIK there isn't absolute security. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
