I ran into a similar issue. After a little digging, it seems that the function mentioned (MP4GetMetadataName, MP4GetMetadataYear, MP4GetMetadataGenre…) belongs to the MP4v2 Metadata API of mp4v2. Unfortunately, this API has been deprecated and then removed in version 2.0.0.
