Hi All,
I have configured Debian 6 [2.6.32-5-amd64 #1 SMP Fri May 10 08:43:19
UTC 2013 x86_64 GNU/Linux] for LDAP Authentication.
It works fine if the /etc/nsswitch.conf is as follows:
passwd: ldap files
group: ldap files
shadow: ladp files

hosts: files dns
networks: files

protocols: db files
services: db files
ethers: db files
rpc: db files

netgroup: nis

But I get authentication errors if it is like this:

passwd: files ldap
group: files ldap
shadow: files ladp

hosts: files dns
networks: files

protocols: db files
services: db files
ethers: db files
rpc: db files

netgroup: nis

It only works if the order is ldap files.
I have installed libnss-ldapd
Any ideas?
