Hi @all, I have a problem with HP-Tools on Debian/Wheezy/amd64 running under Xen-Hypervisor on a HP DL380 G7 system.
The hp-health package cannot be installed, because the hpasmlited crashes with an general protection fault. Has anyone solved / circumvented this problem ? eg. some kernel/hypervisor acpi options o.รค. .. Is there a newer (Beta-)Version available ? I got the debian packages from the following site: http://downloads.linux.hp.com/SDR/downloads/MCP/pool/non-free/ root@xen:~# dpkg -l|grep hp iF hp-health 9.2.5.1.5-5. amd64 hp System Health Application and Command line Utility Package iU hp-smh-templates 9.2.5.1.3-3. all HP System Management Homepage Templates iU hp-snmp-agents 9.2.5.1.9-18. amd64 Insight Management SNMP Agents for HP ProLiant Systems ii hpacucli 9.25.2-3. amd64 HP Command Line Array Configuration Utility iU hponcfg 4.0.1.3-6. amd64 RILOE II/iLo online configuration utility ii hpsmh 7.1.2-3.2-4. amd64 HP System Management Homepage ii libopenhpi2 2.14.1-1.2 amd64 OpenHPI libraries (runtime and support files) ii openhpid 2.14.1-1.2 amd64 OpenHPI daemon, supports gathering of manageability information root@xen:~# dpkg -l|grep linux- ii linux-headers-3.2.0-4-amd64 3.2.41-2+deb7u2 amd64 Header files for Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 ii linux-headers-3.2.0-4-common 3.2.41-2+deb7u2 amd64 Common header files for Linux 3.2.0-4 ii linux-image-3.2.0-4-amd64 3.2.41-2+deb7u2 amd64 Linux 3.2 for 64-bit PCs ii linux-image-amd64 3.2+46 amd64 Linux for 64-bit PCs (meta-package) ii linux-kbuild-3.2 3.2.17-1 amd64 Kbuild infrastructure for Linux 3.2 ii linux-libc-dev:amd64 3.2.41-2+deb7u2 amd64 Linux support headers for userspace development ii xen-linux-system-3.2.0-4-amd64 3.2.41-2+deb7u2 amd64 Xen system with Linux 3.2 on 64-bit PCs (meta-package) root@xen:~# dpkg -i hp-health_9.2.5.1.5-5._amd64.deb (Reading database ... 47419 files and directories currently installed.)
