It is not possible. There is no delete button on the internet. (I assume you mean an email post _to_ a mailing list.) Generally I always advise people that the network has no delete and anything that is posted is always posted. Because there are so many different email archives out on the network. Even if you can get one archive to delete it then it would still remain in another. And another. And another. It is a practical impossibility to get everyone who has ever received your message to delete it. And there is the Streisand effect.
