Probably, as you mentioned previously, a DNS problem. I would contact the hosting service about it, or switch to a new one. A few years ago I was having DNS problems. I was using my ISP's DNS servers. So, I switched to another, a free one: Problems went away. Do you use a proxy? Do you have this problem with any other sites? Check your firewall, too.
