Hey, I realized that I have both kernels installed of wheezy(3.2.0-4) and Sid(3.8-1). At the wheezy kernel works wlan but on the Sid kernel it doesn't. I saw the kernel module ath9k is responsible for using and blocking the device. I have only just realized that I couldn't change the display brightness via the fn-key and gnome control panel. For that seems the kernel also responsible. I saw you reported the blocking problem with ath5k driver and I don't think it will fix problems with the ath9k kernel module but thanks. Just one question: Should I report this bug better or will you report this bug? Greets, Mariusz Wojcik
