huawei e169 +asterisk

hi. i am running debian 6.0.6 that has asterisk on it.
i am trying to install chan_dongle to make use of my Huawei e169 usb, to
make/receive calls.
after following the instructions

i do the ./configure, but it stops to the make. it gives me errors.
is there a way to overcome this issue?
