I recently had a simliar problem. I managed to install Debian by changing in the bios the boot method from UEFI the "Legacy BIOS". Once Debian was up and running, I replaced the normal grub with grub-efi, changed the bios setting back to UEFI boot, and dual boot works now pretty good.
