I'm assuming that you mean: in wheezy gnome-shell's wireless icon on the tab doesn't give you the same setup options that squeeze's gnome 2 did. One possibility is to choose Gnome Classic mode when you log in to gnome. This will give you something that looks like gnome 2 and you can get the old setup options.
