(remember to momentary disable D-M repositories from "/etc/apt/sources.list") IIRC, the package was listed as "ic" which has to mean (i)nstalled -or marked to be installed- and (c)onfiguration files. Launch Synaptic (or "aptitude") locate the package and mark it to be installed or to be completely purged so you can installit afterwards). If the above does not work (or you feel adventuorus), you can also try (check for the correctness of the .deb filename): dpkg -i --force-overwrite /var/cache/apt/archives/mplayer-gui_2%3a1.0~rc3++final.dfsg1-1_i386.deb apt-get -f install Greetings, -- Camaleón -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
