Hi,
I am having a go at installing Linux for the very
first time. I have a copy of Debian 3.0 and I am installing it onto a HP
Omnibook 900. This laptop has a floppy disk drive and an external USB CDROM. I
have downloaded the files and created the 26 floppy disks inorder to install
Debian.
Here is my problem..
During the install I have enabled SCSI and USB Mass
Storage as well as USB HID as I use a USB mouse with this machine as
well.
I can not get the CDROM to work. I have gone over
the instructions time and time again even reinstalled several times to make sure
that I was enabling all the right things according to instructions, but to no
avail.
I need HELP
Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.
