In the "Status" view, there should be options for the sections;
Installed
Installed (local or obsolete)
Installed (Manually)
Not Installed
Upgradeable
New
Residual Config
Broken Packages
Some only appear if they're required. Guess which one you need to look
at? :-)
One caveat though; if you're trying to remove them, dependencies may be
selected automatically.
