check your sources.list file.

I have recently installed OO-1.1.0 (1.1 RC5) using the above and

apt-get -t unstable install openoffice.org1.1 openoffice.org1.1-bin \
        openoffice.org1.1-debian-files openoffice.org1.1-help-en \
        openoffice.org-crashrep

~75 Meg so hope you aren't on dialup.  :-)

It's running very well with 'no' crashes, so far.
