Hi,
I am on Squeeze amd64 6.0.5
When Squeeze first came out I managed to install the nVidia driver on
one of my other machines using the driver from the nVidia site and not
Debian's Wiki way, touch wood it works to this day.
Yet on this machine, I failed a few weeks ago using the nVidia driver
from nVidia.
The other day I had an option to install a nVidia package, forget what
it is called, when I was installing another package from backports.
Oh yes I think it was something to do with Google earth.
Anyway, once I had installed the nVidia package from the repo and
rebooted my max screen resolution was 800x640 so I removed that nVidia
package very quickly because I have never had any luck with xrandr.
Could some please point me to step by step instruction on installing a
nVidia driver for a GTS250?

Cheers
Mark
