Hi everybody... What's going on with Debian today? After the aptitude checksum fail, now comes the /etc/init.d/networking bug at startup.
Description of the problem: After a pair of update of ifupdown and netbase (i think, but i'm not shure), the computer failed to start and stop init process at Configuring network interfaces... Starting rpcbind daemon... Starting NFS common utilities: statd idmapd. And nothing else... apparently... the computer actually start after a couple of minutes, after showing some timout lines. # cat /etc/network/interfaces allow-hotplug eth0 # cat /etc/fstab # serveur on Serveur 192.168.1.200:/media/serveur /media/serveur nfs rw,auto 0 0 Nothing which draws attention when reading /etc/init.d/networking nor /etc/network/if-up.d/mountnfs ...
