First, I'd guess you really didn't mean "IA64" but "AMD64".  As for the
Best Buy house brand NIC, post lscpi output for the device.  The name on
the card is irrelevant.  What matters is what ethernet ASIC it has.
Linux drives are written to the ASIC interface.
