The machine you are posting from is joule. joule.shaw.ca does not appear in the headers of your list mails so mailto-mutt must get it from elsewhere. If you have a mutt configuration file in your home directory try moving it and retrying. For your project you might want to know the mutt in testing and unstable handles mailto: differently from the one in stable.
