Then you can try what I've suggested. As root, open "/etc/inittab", locate this line: *** 1:2345:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty1 *** And append the "setterm" command: *** 1:2345:respawn:/sbin/getty -I `setterm -clear all` 38400 tty1 *** Save the file and restart.
