I have the following in my /etc/fstab:

//stbstaff.stb.sun.ac.za/dept/let/senis /home/js/mnt/senis cifs
credentials=/etc/credentials,user,uid=1000,gid=1000 0     0

Using this I can mount the volume with

$ mount /home/js/mnt/senis

This works with kernel 2.6.38-2-amd64 but when I work with 3.1.0-1-amd64
I get 'permission denied'.

Any idea why?

Regards
Johann
