Hi, I recently upgraded to the ipmasq version 3.5.10c because of security risks through apt-get upgrade. The problem is, now there is no working IP masquerading.
when I issue the command: < dpkg-reconfigure ipmasq> Initializing IP Masquerading...iptables: No chain/target/match by that name done. Loading IP Masquerade kernel modules...done. minikerr:/home/difrentptofvue# Even though I have all of the appropriate modules installed in the kernel. Additionally my system log is bombarded with the following: IN=ppp0 OUT=eth0 SRC=206.141.192.60 DST=192.168.1.5 LEN=139 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=244 ID=5734 DF PROTO=UDP SPT=53 DPT=1366 LEN=119 minikerr:/home/di The DST address is my client machine trying to reach the internet. Can anyone help me with this issue? I really need my other computer to access the internet. :-((( Thanks in advance...
