Also compiled as a module. All I have to do is to load the ide-scsi
module at startup. If ide-cd is compiled into the kernel, I also have
to configure my bootloader properly. That's all. Did you load the
ide-scsi module? Was it loaded before some startup scripts (like
hwtools/hdparm) could load the ide-cd module?
