Mmm... what grade of stability do you expect for your system afterwards 
and how brave enough do you feel? :-)

KDE SC is more stable as versions increase (BTW, 4.7 was released a day 
ago or so) but I would worry most for the additional libraries and 
packages you will have to download/upgrade from testing/sid repo than can 
mess up your system.

And that's another challenge (integrating both environments).... I would 
definitely try that experiment from a virtual machine or a separate 
testing machine but not definitely from your current stable system.
