I'm not sure why it failed - seems correct, except 0622 is the correct
permissions (use run-parts to test). Maybe, as you stated, xorg takes
precedence. Format and scripting is described in XSessions man
"CUSTOMIZING THE STARTUP PROCEDURE" section.
