But the current Iceweasel that you should have ended up with after
following the directions on that page should be 6.0 not 3.6.

I think I know what happened.  When you accessed that page did you
have Javascript turned off?  That page uses some Javascript to help
you select the lines for your sources.list file.  If you have
Javascript turned off then you see the instructions for the frozen 3.6
version.  But if you enable Javascript then you will see instructions
for the current and rolling version, the Firefox "release" track.

I don't know why that page defaults to the frozen 3.6 in the case that
Javascript is disabled.  A quirk from the page author.  That would be
something that would seem to be worthwhile to have the page author fix.
