Mmm, "lspci" lists hardware ID and kernel should know about that :-?

In many ways, but the most accurate way I know is by issuing:

lspci -vvv

And then look for "Kernel modules" or ""Kernel drivers" tag which would 
list the current module/driver in use for that piece of hardware.
